Trinkets for Discipline Priests
The ranking system is as follows:
- S Tier: The strongest and most generally useful trinkets; these arealways good choices.
- A Tier: These trinkets are slightly weaker than the S Tiertraits, but are still solid choices.
Due to the large number of trinkets available, if you can not find a trinket in the list below it is safe to assume said trinket is worse than the available options on this list.
3.1.
S Tier
Rashok's Molten Heart from Rashok in Aberrus
Whispering Incarnate Icon from Primal Council in Vault of the Incarnates
Ominous Chromatic Essence from Forgotten Experiments in Aberrus
3.2.
A Tier
Pip's Emerald Friendship Badge from Council of Dreams in Amirdrassil.
Neltharion's Call to Suffering from Echo of Neltharion in Aberrus
Screaming Black Dragonscale from Kazzara in Aberrus
Broodkeeper's Promise from Broodkeeper in Vault of the Incarnates
Ashes of the Embersoul from Smolderon in Amirdrassil (Situationally when your
Evangelism is used on a 2 minute cycle)
3.3.
DPS Trinkets
In some cases, specifically Mythic Plus content most often, DisciplinePriest players will look towards utilizing DPS trinkets to push their overallDPS contribution further. Damage from DPS Trinkets DOES NOT contributeto healing and is utilized strictly for DPS purposes only. It is highlyrecommended to make sure you are comfortable with the healing requirements ofthe dungeons you are attempting first before considering equipping any DPStrinkets.
4.
Crafted Gear and Embellishments for Discipline Priests
4.1.
Embellishments
Embellishments are special effects that are either found on crafted piecesby default or can be added to crafted pieces during the crafting process. Acharacter can have two embellishments equipped at any time. Thefollowing are the embellishments we recommend you utilize:
Allied Wristguards of Time Dilation - This is a solidEmbellishment if you are looking for the highest overallcontribution after early tier when low on sockets. This will eventually be outvalued by Elemental Lariat at high socket counts, but will provide a larger bonus at the beginning of the tier.
Elemental Lariat - Elemental Lariat is an overall solid embellishment which will get stronger as you gain more sockets in your gear.
4.2.
Crafting Strategy
When your sparks are limited at the beginning of thetier, we recommend being very careful how you spend them. Our currentrecommendation is to use your first Spark to craft either Allied Wristguards of Time Dilation or
Elemental Lariat, depending on what other gear you have available.
For your second spark, we recommend crafting whatever one between Lariat and Allied Wristguards you did not craft first.
>
If you have 2 embellishments crafted, utilizing your sparks on any gear slotthat is a lower item level, or you have not had good luck with is a valuable use of excess Sparks.
5.
Best Gear To Spend Bullions On For Discipline Priest
Season 4 offers a way to target specific, powerful items with the new Antique Bronze Bullion. Here are the best items to spend your Bullions on in Dragonflight Season 4.
Dreambinder, Loom of the Great Cycle
Seal of Filial Duty
Whispering Incarnate Icon
All three of these items are both very strong items and fall on rare drop tables that will be highly coveted by many players of various roles. As a result, these are very good items to target with your Bullions. If you get access to any of these items without using Bullions and are not sure what to spend them on next, take a look at our BIS list on the page above!
6.
Unique Items
Voice of the Silent Star provides a very small bonus at the cost of a large amount of stamina. As a result we do not recommend utilizing this cloak anywhere that could be considered hard/dangerous content.
6.1.
Other Sockets in Dragonflight
In Dragonflight, only your Helm, Rings, Necks, Bracers, and Belts can have asocket on them. When a piece of gear in that slot drops, there is a chance forit to already have a socket in it.
